Speed running is the act of playing a video game, or section of a video game, with the goal of completing it as fast as possible. Being the fastest to beat a game means making the most of every second, so there’s no time to wait for internet that can’t keep up. Speedrunners can rely on 5G Home for the fastest internet that doesn’t miss a beat during the most intense runs.

At Twitchcon 2023, we created the Verizon Speed Run Zones a stadium/speed gaming set up putting 5G Home front and center to power guests’ best speed runs. Featuring appearances from celebrity streamers, guests engaged in popular games such as Halo Infinite, Fortnite and Powerwash Simulator (yes, its a real thing) playing for prizes, bragging rights and a chance to make history.
